What’s good everyone? You remember when i said I’m not in the Xmas mood at all at all, well things have changed now… thanks to the Minnie me. Girl is over excited. Her interpretation of Xmas is a fun day I bet. That was my interpretation too at one point of my life, so I don’t blame her.

Looking back at the days, when i was a little older than her, a Chrismas cloth was a must. And it was a dress that came with a cap and it’s bag. All matchy matchy 🤣🤣🤣. Hair do was a must. Pilau was a need 😂😂😂. And then we were given some coins by our uncles, maybe 5 shillings or 10 shillings. And guess what? 😂😂😂😂😂 That was the entry fee to the “boogy”. “Boogy” was a day club I’d say. Where we would dance and drink like 2 bottles of soda. 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

So back to my Treasure. Girl knows that Xmas is a day where she gets to play with my friend’s kids. And she gets to go to the bouncing castle. She also knows that snow will come on Xmas day. ( I have told her like 1million times that there is no snow in Kenya) but girl insists that snow will come. She also knows that she is about to meet Santa.

Too much expectation I know. But i owe her one. So she must meet a real Santa. The snow, oh the snow I dont know what to do about that. The bouncing castle and all those shakaras that come with kids fun day, that’s no problem. But the snow… somebody tell me how i can invent snow

So now I have a to do list. Thanks to Treasure ofcourse.

What i know is, Xmas comes once, so I cant be mad for stressing once over looking for a real Santa. So I’m on it…

My version of Xmas now, the KING is about to be born. This is the night where your wishes can be granted through a short prayer. Also, this is the period where you can make adjustments in your life because you had the whole year to learn. Its also the season to be jolly, cause we are about to see a whole different year, I feel like it’s always a miracle to see another year. I don’t take that for granted at all. It’s a big honor and blessing to write “HAPPY NEW YEAR” I mean look at that… happy new year. Sounds like the biggest blessing ever. Granted another 12 months. Wow!.

So guys, count more of your blessings in every 24 hours you are granted. Always appreciate this festive season. Be as responsible as you can. Spend this time with the people you love. And continue learning.
