THE SUPER MUM

Hello world. How is your side of the world? Mine was under attack but viva! Kenya viva! In less than 24 hours everybody were rescued and the criminals eliminated. Some few lives were lost, REST IN PEACE MY COUNTRY PEOPLE, some injured, a quick recovery to them, and to the rest of the country, I say congratulations. The unity and support to fellow Kenyans was out of this world. To be honest, I’m more than proud.

So y’all know my baby girl started school. Guess what, it’s been an amazing road, already 1 week old as a student. And guess what, Treasure loves school. On Saturday she was up by 7 asking me why she is not going to school. I tried to explain but I guess I was talking to myself ofcourse. Because this little girl of mine decided to cause some drama instead of actually understanding it is a Saturday and people don’t go to school on Saturdays.

So today I’m going to talk about the super moms and the attributes of a super mum.

WHO IS A SUPER MUM?

a super mum is that mum that knows they have a child, cares for their child, loves their child and makes sure their child is okay, happy and healthy.

HOW DO YOU KNOW YOU ARE A SUPER MUM?

1. You acknowledge that you have a child.

Don’t let anyone make you feel bad for being someone’s mum even if you are 15 years old. That child is your child and they will never have any other mother apart from you.

2. You love your child.

A super mum loves their child. I mean , which mother hates their own child after all the labour pain. Just holding my daughter in my arms felt like I had the whole galaxy handed to me.

3. You care for your children.

A super mum cares for her children. Most mums sacrifice alot just to give their children the life they deserve. Super mums care alot and make sure things are going okay in their children’s lives.

4. A super mum is a child’s bestfriend.

Apart from the punishments and right upbringing for the children, a super mum makes sure they are the child’s bestfriend. Bestfriends listen, understand, cheer you up, offer a shoulder to lean on and wish you well. That is exactly what super moms do.

5. Super mums are heros.

As a super mum, you don’t have to go get the sun to your house for you to be a hero. The little things you do that make your little ones proud make you their hero. Fixing the bulb, killing a cockroach, winning parent competitions in school. It’s the little things that matter always.

6. A super mum is not perfect!

We are all human beings and we make mistakes every single day. We are not perfect. But do you want to know what makes us beautiful and adorable, it is the fact that we accept that we are wrong, apologise and set a good example. That makes it easy for your young ones to know when they are wrong and the right precautions to take.

So, what’s good super mums…. and super dads in the building.
